Hon. Colonel James Hamilton, K.G. C.B., second Duke of Abercorn

 

 

Hamilton was born on 24 August 1838 at Brighton, England. He became the second Duke of Abercorn on the death of his father in 1885.

He served as Honorary Colonel of the North of Ireland Imperial Yeomanry and the North Irish Horse from 1903 until his death on 3 January 1913.
